228. Friendly Frogs: a calming meditation and children’s story

Dragon visits beach and thanks Benji and Paula, and meets some new friends as well.

Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Friendly Frogs” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!

Narrator: Female

Story Begins: 9:30

Friendly Frogs Excerpt:

The dragon watched as the enchanted forest filled with a red orange glow.  The sun was setting and it was time for one of the dragon’s adventures.  Tonight the dragon would go to the beach once again. Stepping outside the cozy cave, the dragon spread its wings and lifted up on the cool breeze.

The dragon quickly spotted the train track and followed it.  As the dragon flew, it noticed the air growing warmer and warmer.  The sound of the waves echoed in the dragon’s ear. Below, the warm sand invited the dragon to land.  As the dragon landed, the soft sand hugged the dragon’s feet.

Paula the blue penguin waddled over to the dragon with a wide grin.  She carried Benji the sand bucket with her.   They both felt excited to see the friendly dragon.

“Welcome back!” Paula said.

“We’re so glad to see you!” Benji added.
