Happily Hovering Excerpt:

Dragon waited for the sun to set over the enchanted forest.  As twinkling stars peered out from the deep blue sky, Dragon smiled and stretched its wings.  It was a beautiful night for a flight.  Dragon lifted up off the ground and up into the sky.  The cool night’s breeze felt refreshing after the warm day.  Dragon hovered above the treetops and looked out at Ahway Island’s beauty.  The light of the moon reflected off the flat sea.  Then Dragon noticed another bright light reflecting off the softly rolling waves.  It seemed much closer than the twinkling stars.  Dragon turned to find where the light was coming from.  On the other side of the island a bright glow danced in the sky. Dragon wondered what the light could be and, feeling curious, flew towards it.

Dragon wondered, “What is it?” The light moved up, down, to the side and even in a circle.  There was a gentle rumble, and a stir in the air.  As Dragon moved closer to the light the sound grew louder, there was a stronger breeze, and the light grew brighter.  Dragon blinked and squinted, trying to see beyond the bright light. Something was hovering in the air.

“Hello! You must be dragon!” A voice said through the rumbling. The dragon felt puzzled and wondered who was talking.

“I’m Harmony, the helicopter.” She said, “I’m excited to meet you. I’ve heard all about you from the planes.”
