866. Listening Games: a calming bedtime and nap time story for kids
Javier goes to the audiologist to play some listening games and see if his ears need some help.
Narrator: Female
Story Begins: 3:41
Listening Games Excerpt:
Grey clouds blanketed the afternoon sky, promising forthcoming rain. As Javier looked up through the car window, he felt a bit relieved that he wouldn’t be missing a sunny day perfect for skateboarding outside. Instead, his father was taking him to the doctor.
Javier remembered the last parent-teacher conference when his teacher had gently suggested the visit. She had noticed that Javier sometimes missed instructions or didn’t respond when spoken to. His parents took the teacher’s advice and made an appointment with a special doctor called an audiologist. Javer’s mom had explained that audiologists are doctors who check your hearing and do their best to help you hear better if you are having difficulty.
