Curious Baby Whale: A calming bedtime and nap time story for children

A little beluga whale busily explores his surroundings. The curious baby whale wants to see everything!

Final 3 dragon breaths start at 6:01
Curious Baby Whale Story Excerpt:

The little beluga whale swam up towards the surface and joined his pod again.  They swam as a group around icebergs and islands.  Beau tried to concentrate on where the pod was headed, but there was so much to see, hear, smell, and feel in the different waters.  Just then Beau heard a splash.  “What was that?” he thought.  A seal swam right above Beau.  The little whale couldn’t resist finding out what was happening and he headed up to the surface, popping his head out of the water to see.

Octopus Adventure: Children’s story and guided relaxation

Ready for an octopus adventure? Odette the octopus explores her corner of the sea. Her colors change with her feelings. What will she find?

Final 3 Dragon Breaths 7:00
Octopus Adventure Story Excerpt:

Odette opened her arms wide and gently floated, like a parachute, on the sea current. The sea gently moved the delicate octopus out away from her home. Odette smiled, ready for whatever adventure tonight might bring. As the little octopus drifted down to the soft sandy floor of the sea, she noticed the other nighttime sea creatures. The sea stars glowed a soft orange.  Little fish reflected the light from the moon and stars off of their yellow stripes. Odette’s world was filled with fantastic creatures lighting up the ocean.

Dad to the Rescue:a kid’s bedtime, nap time story and relaxation

Today’s Story

Owen is inspired and begins to write a story but gets stuck. Fortunately, it’s Dad to the rescue! He helps Owen learn the importance of taking a break to feel refreshed.

Dad to the Rescue Story Excerpt:

“How’s it going?” his dad said.
“I’m stuck. I can’t figure out how to start the story.”  Owen said, feeling frustrated.
“You’ve been working pretty hard at this, I think maybe you should take a break.”  Owen’s dad suggested.
“That’s OK, dad. I can do this. I don’t need a break.” Owen said.
“Owen, a break isn’t quitting, it is giving yourself the option to find new ideas by doing something completely different. I take breaks all the time when I am stuck. Then when I come back, I have a fresh new idea. What would you like to do for a break?” his dad asked.
“It looks pretty nice outside. Maybe I’ll play for a bit.” Owen said with a sigh. He still wanted to finish his story.
