Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story, “Cuddly Dragon”, Monday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again, so now we have “Favorite Friday.” Please enjoy Monkeying Around, and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!

Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:07

Narrator: Female

Monkeying Around Story Excerpt:

Alice and her mom left for the park.  The air was warm. Sunshine formed lace patterns as it filtered through the leaves of the trees and onto the sidewalk.  Cheerful red, orange, yellow, purple, and white flowers lined the path to the park.  Alice skipped next to her mom.  They were getting closer!  Soon, she saw the playground.  It was painted in blues and greens.  The sun was shining on the twisty slide, and Alice decided she would go there first. As they crossed into the playground, Alice looked at her mom to see if she could go play.  Alice’s mom nodded, and Alice ran over to the slide, quickly moving up the steps.  As she reached the top, Alice realized another girl was there.  The girl smiled and waved, giggling as she slid down the slide.  Alice waited for the girl to reach the bottom and then she too slide down the slide, giggling.  Alice reached the bottom and hopped off the slide, there was no sign of the little girl. Alice heard a giggle, turned around and saw the little girl at the bottom of the slide.

Cuddly Dragon: a relaxing bedtime story

Cuddly Dragon: a relaxing bedtime story

A birds’ song wakes our cuddly dragon from a nap, reminding Dragon to return the cuddly yellow blanket to the kids. Dragon decides the playground is best.

Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:31
Narrator: Female
Cuddly Dragon Story Excerpt:

The dancing melody tickled Dragon’s ears. With a smile, Dragon woke. It was always wonderful to hear the joyful music of the birds.  Dragon blinked, eyes fluttering open to see the source of the song. Vibrant flowers softly swayed with the breeze releasing their refreshing scent.  Dragon took a deep breath, in and out (deep breath), enjoying the floral fragrance. Then Dragon nuzzled the soft yellow blanket, still clutched in Dragon’s paws. There was a nervous fluttering in Dragon’s tummy. It was time to return the blanket to the kids.

The little tugboat knew when she helped the ships get in the harbor the people inside them were safe. She was proud to have such an important job. Was the captain finished yet? Teagan blew her foghorn. She was beginning to get antsy. The little tugboat wanted to be helping. “Easy there, Teagan, I know you love to help, we need to make sure you’re taken care of first. The boy thought for a moment and replied, “Circle the hands of the clock back four times. Let’s see where we end up.”

“OK, here we go.” The little girl gently twirled the hands of the clock backwards. As she moved the hands, a brilliant orange fog rolled into the living room and surrounded Chance. Baby Duck Parade: mindfulness and story for your bedtime routine

Baby Duck Parade: mindfulness and story for your bedtime routine

A family of mallard ducks wants to go to a nearby pond. The baby duck parade travels under, over, around, and through various obstacles on their way.

Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 8:03
Narrator: Female
Baby Duck Parade Story Excerpt:

The little ducks walked through the grass, the warm sun shined down on their backs.  The ducklings were beginning to feel a little hot.  Up ahead there was something different.  There was a dark opening.  The ducks could feel the coolness as they waddled closer.  It was a bridge, and the little ducks were heading under it.  The ducks and ducklings took a deep breath in and out (deep breath) as they enjoyed the chill of the air in the short tunnel.  Before long, they had passed through the tunnel.  Papa counted 1,2,3,4,5,6, and 7.  All the little ducks had made it under the bridge.  Now they were back in the glistening sun.
