Open the Roof Excerpt:

Tucked away in her cozy garage Carmen the little blue convertible hoped to go out for a drive on a bright sunny day. Oh how the little convertible loved the warm weather when she got to roll down her roof and enjoy the sunshine.  Today, the temperature felt just about right, not too hot, not too cold.  The garage door rolled open and Carmen could see the sun shining through the scattered fluffy clouds.  Maybe she would go for a drive today!  Sure enough her driver walked into the garage smiling and looking up at the sun.  She wandered over to the little car and said.  “I think this is a great day to drop your roof.  What do you think?”  Carmen felt excited! They were definitely going out! Today’s Meditation: Relax in the grass as you imagine sunlight warming you from head to toe.

Stuck in Mud: a bedtime story and meditation

Stuck in Mud: a bedtime story and meditation

It’s a rainy day as Toby the tow truck drives along. Toby notices his friend Bodhi the beach buggy is stuck in mud. How will he get his friend moving again?

Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story “Roly Robot” and this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Stuck in Mud,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!
Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:37

Narrator: Male

Stuck in Mud Excerpt:

Rain pitter-pattered in a gentle rhythm on the roof.  The little tow truck listened as the beat grew stronger and stronger.  Soon the wind added a whistle to the rhythm of the rain. Toby wondered if the cars were struggling on the roads.  The weather sounded a bit pushy.  The little tow truck hoped everyone was driving safely.  Then Toby heard the motor in the garage door whirr. Slowly, the door rolled up above the little tow truck, and the driver ran in.

“Are you ready to give some people a hand?”  The driver asked.  Toby took a deep dragon breath in and out (deep breath) to clear his mind and focus.  Then he rumbled a “Yes!” as the driver turned the key.

“OK, let’s go.” The driver said.

Today’s Meditation: Imagine floating in a tranquil pool, safe and relaxed, as the water rocks you gently.

The Air Show: a soothing kid’s story when you need a break

Holly, Hawk, and Herb the airplanes are excited as they get ready for the air show. Each plane will share their specialty.
Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story “Connor’s Conundrum this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “The Air Show,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!

Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:10

Narrator: Female

The Air Show Excerpt:

Holly, Hawk and Herb felt a sense of adventure as they thought about what the day held in store for them.  Today, the three little airplanes were flying in an air show.   It was something completely new for all of them.  Holly felt excited to bring some delight to the people watching, Herb felt happy to be with his friends, and that his flight would be low to the ground.  No high loops for him.  Hawk felt thrilled that he was about to show everyone what he could do.  The three little airplanes waited eagerly for their turn in the show.  “Let’s take some deep dragon breaths so we are calm and ready.”  Holly suggested.

“That’s a great idea.”  Herb said.  “I know I could use a little extra focus.”

“That’s right we want to be safe, and have fun.” Hawk added.

The three little planes took deep dragon breaths, in and out (deep breath), and pictured their routine in their minds.  They took another deep dragon breath, in and out (deep breath), and wished the people watching a delightful day.  With one more deep dragon breath, in and out (deep breath), the planes felt focused and ready for their big moment.

They heard the announcer call out “Now, put your hands together for Holly, Hawk, and Herb as they get ready for their first flight in this air show!”  It was time!

Today’s Meditation: Today, enjoy the feeling of your body relaxing into the warm sand on a sunny beach.

Mystery Jug: a calming story with a positive message

Today’s Bedtime Story with a Positive Message: Terry and Charlie truck carefully drive at the edge of the forest.  Charlie gets hot and needs water. What will Terry Truck do to help his friend?

Excerpt from today’s calming bedtime and nap time story with a positive message: Mystery Jug

Warm sunlight filtered through the leaves of the trees at the edge of the woods forming a lacy pattern of light and leaves that covered everything underneath the forest canopy. Terry the truck carefully drove alongside Charlie. As the two trucks drove slowly at the edge of the forest they tried to keep their engines cool. Today, even in the shade, it was hot. Up ahead, Terry noticed a hill causing the little truck to wonder how they would climb it in the heat.

Today’s Meditation: Relax in the grass as you imagine sunlight warming you from head to toe.
