Dragon’s forest friends stop by the cozy cave to check on Dragon after the thunderstorm. Dragon is grateful for their kindness.

Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story “Spinning Ideas” this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Forest Friends” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!

Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:24

Narrator: Male

Forest Friends Excerpt:

Rain drip-dropped on the leaves of the trees in the enchanted forest.  A soothing rhythm echoed through the woods, and the dragon smiled, tapping along with the beat.  The rain poured louder and faster until there was a rumble, crash, and flash.  The clouds had reached the peak of their song. The dragon, startled by the sudden noises, zipped back into the cozy cave, and curled into a tight ball with eyes and ears covered.  Meanwhile, the pitter-patter of the rain relaxed, and then stopped.

The forest animals peered out of their homes.  Squirrels zipped around the treetops, shaking the rain water off of the leaves and onto the animals below.  Bunnies hopped out from under their trees.  Turtles, frogs, and toads crawled out from the ponds, and the birds began to sing delicate melodies. With the pounding rhythm of the rain finished, all the animals wondered the same thing.  Where had their friend dragon gone?
