It’s a beautiful day! Alice decides to go to the park. There she meets Anora and the two new friends head to the monkey bars and start monkeying around.

Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story, “Cuddly Dragon”, Monday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again, so now we have “Favorite Friday.” Please enjoy Monkeying Around, and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!

Monkeying Around Story Excerpt:

Alice and her mom left for the park.  The air was warm. Sunshine formed lace patterns as it filtered through the leaves of the trees and onto the sidewalk.  Cheerful red, orange, yellow, purple, and white flowers lined the path to the park.  Alice skipped next to her mom.  They were getting closer!  Soon, she saw the playground.  It was painted in blues and greens.  The sun was shining on the twisty slide, and Alice decided she would go there first.

As they crossed into the playground, Alice looked at her mom to see if she could go play. Her mom nodded, and Alice ran over to the slide, quickly moving up the steps.  As she reached the top, Alice realized another girl was there.  The girl smiled and waved, giggling as she slid down the slide.  Alice waited for the girl to reach the bottom and then she too slide down the slide, giggling.  When Alice reached the bottom she hopped off the slide, there was no sign of the little girl. Alice heard a giggle, turned around and saw the little girl at the bottom of the slide.
