Warm sunlight filtered through the leaves of the trees at the edge of the woods forming a lacy pattern of light and leaves that covered everything underneath the forest canopy. Terry the truck carefully drove alongside Charlie. As the two trucks drove slowly at the edge of the forest they tried to keep their engines cool. Today, even in the shade, it was hot. Up ahead, Terry noticed a hill causing the little truck to wonder how they would climb it in the heat.
