Ep 517. A Trip to the Pond: a meditation and story for your bedtime routine

Mabel and Magnus Duck take their 7 baby ducklings on their first trip to the pond.

Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new stories this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “A Trip to the Pond” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!

Narrator: Male

Story Begins: 3:50

A Trip to the Pond Excerpt:

It was a calm morning on Ahway Island. The waters of a pond in the Ahway Island Park reflected the beautiful blue of the cloudless sky above. Grasses swayed gently in the morning breeze. The crisp morning air was filled with music as the local birds all sang their favorite melodies, singing from their houses in the trees above the pond.

Then, all of a sudden, there was a “quack” and then another “quack.” Soon a whole chorus of “quacks” filled the air. It was Mabel and Magnus Duck with their family! They were getting ready to lead their ducklings over to the pond for a morning swim.

Today’s Meditation: Picture floating in the safe and comforting waters of a tranquil pool.
