799. Soft and Loud: a calming story and meditation for bedtime

Clara Clarinet learns the importance of listening when she meets Portia Piano.

Narrator: Female

Story Begins: 3:18

Soft and Loud Excerpt:

It was a bright weekend morning on Ahway Island. Sunlight streamed through the leaves on the trees as a trio of sparrows flitted through the neighborhood. In the cheerful Olsen-Mueller house, Clara Clarinet was resting quietly in her cozy case that sat on the bookshelf in Lisa’s room. Clara had been given to Lisa on Lisa’s last birthday, and Clara loved when Lisa made music with her.

The house had been silent for quite some time, and the peacefulness had lulled Clara to sleep.  From her slumber, Clara heard footsteps and noises in the other room, and she instantly popped awake. A pair of familiar footsteps that Clara recognized became louder, and Clara knew that Lisa was nearby!

Today’s Meditation: Love flows through you in this meditation as you imagine a baby fawn and mama deer.
