828. Furry Field Trip: a children’s bedtime story and meditation

Pal feels bored now that the kids have gone to to school. He decides to ride the bus to find them.

Narrator: Male

Story Begins: 3:54

Furry Field Trip Excerpt:

The sun peeked through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the kitchen floor as the boy and girl bustled about, preparing for the day ahead. Pal, the little puppy, darted in between and around the teenagers’ feet as they bustled about the kitchen. Pal’s tail wagged furiously as he weaved between their legs. He was happy they were up and about on this beautiful morning.

“Watch out, Pal!” chuckled the girl, gently nudging Pal away. The puppy didn’t mind; he just wanted to be part of the action.

“We have to get ready!” added the boy. He and the girl slipped on their shoes and slung bags over their shoulders.

What Pal didn’t know…was what the girl and boy were getting ready for.  Why were they rushing about today?
