Lunch is Ready! Excerpt:
It was a warm morning on the streets of Ahway Island. Sunshine filled the sky and spilled into the little red car’s windows. Mia and Max and their grandparents were going on a visit to their Aunt Sandra, and the children were feeling excited. They always loved spending time with their grandparents, and they hadn’t seen Aunt Sandra in a while. But as the morning sun shone brighter and brighter, the air in the car was starting to feel hot, so Max asked, “Grandma, may we open the windows?”
“Sure,” replied Grandma Tang. “It’s a beautiful day. It’ll be nice to enjoy the breeze.”
