Ep 929. Kindness Takes Root: a bedtime story and meditation for kids

Babette Bunny and Peanut Squirrel go to check on the chestnut seed they planted a few weeks ago.
Narrator: Male
Story Begins: 4:13
Kindness Takes Root Excerpt:
Babette loved springtime. She loved Summer, Autumn, and Winter, too – but Spring! Spring had a special magic to it. Birds sang cheery tunes, celebrating their return from a winter vacation. Colorful, fragrant flowers bloomed all around. Streams babbled and bubbled, full of rainwater from the spring showers. New green growth pushed up everywhere in the forest, reaching toward the warm sunshine. Everything felt fresh and alive.
Seeing the short, green sprouts poking up from the ground jogged Babette’s memory. She remembered the special morning months ago when she, Peanut squirrel, and Odin owl had planted a tiny chestnut seed in the open field by the creek. They had tucked it into the soft earth, gave it a drink of water, and whispered kind words, hoping it would grow big and strong.
