790. Wondrous Water: a calming meditation and kid’s story

Oliver Elephant is thirsty and searches for water. He finds both water and a friend!

Narrator: Male

Story Begins: 3:49

Wondrous Water Excerpt:

In the Ahway Island animal sanctuary lay a vast field of golden grass. A soft breeze swept through the field, causing the grass to ripple like flowing waves.  On this sunny day, a little elephant named Oliver gazed out over his surroundings, and sighed. Oliver loved the way the grass swayed, and he felt grateful for the cool winds that blew all around him, but he felt something missing – his mouth was all dry, and he was thirsty!

Looking around, Oliver couldn’t see any water nearby.  He thought maybe he could use his other senses to help him find some water. Oliver decided to go on a little adventure. Slowly, he started walking. His ears perked up, listening for the sound of trickling water. His trunk was poised to catch a whiff of it. His skin was looking for any sign of moisture in the air.
